Molded from 93 Shore A polyurethane with a 70 Shore A energizer, this seal utilizes the same groove dimensions as a standard o-ring or T-seal. One or two Style 575 back-up rings may be used for wider grooves. Extrusion resistant by design, this seal is also resistant to rolling and twisting. Installation is an easy two step snap-in procedure with no need to re-size before insertion into the bore. Piston diameter “I” dimensions are given for pistons without wear rings.

This two piece piston seal design comes made with a heat-stabilized, thermoplastic step-cut ring along with a profiled NBR energizer. This product offers extreme strength and resistance to extrusion, a very high resistance to abrasion, and ease of installation thanks to the step cut design and chamfered edges. The design also allows the seal to pass over ports without damage and offers greater resistance to surface roughness in comparison to any elastomer seals. The profiled energizer offers improved dynamic sealing ability, responding quickly to pressure changes and providing excellent sealing characteristics under a wide range of pressure conditions.

The MPSU300 is a compact, double-acting piston seal consisting of two parts: a urethane sealing ring with a pronounced sealing edge and a rectangular nitrile energizer to prevent the seal from twisting within the groove. It also has low friction and smooth operating movement even at low linear velocities.
