This two piece piston seal design comes made with a heat-stabilized, thermoplastic step-cut ring along with a profiled NBR energizer. This product offers extreme strength and resistance to extrusion, a very high resistance to abrasion, and ease of installation thanks to the step cut design and chamfered edges. The design also allows the seal to pass over ports without damage and offers greater resistance to surface roughness in comparison to any elastomer seals. The profiled energizer offers improved dynamic sealing ability, responding quickly to pressure changes and providing excellent sealing characteristics under a wide range of pressure conditions.
Glass Filled Nylon Material | 1.462 in Nominal Inner Diameter | Piston Seal
Features
- Easy assembly
- Low friction capabilities
Utilizing the same profiles as the Style 800 Polyurethane U-Seal line, these u-seals are molded from a fluorocarbon, compound. While being compatible with a broader range of fluids, these fluorocarbon seals will also operate, continuously at temperatures from -20° to +400 °F. NOTE: If you are not sure of fluid/seal compatibility, please refer, to the fluid compatibility chart in the appendix or contact our Engineering Department.

Our vee sets are the finest quality available in the industry. While all sets incorporate fabric reinforced rubber pressure rings, one or two urethane rings are included to improve low pressure sealing, when it is feasible. Most sets use nylon adaptors.
Fabric Reinforced Rubber Material | 3 in Nominal Inner Diameter | Packing Set
Features
- Use nylon adaptors
- Low pressure sealing
Wear rings provide a hard-wearing surface that protects the cylinder walls and the piston rod from scoring and abrasion. By maintaining alignment and reducing side loads, these rings facilitate smoother piston movement and lower friction levels.
Nylon Material | 5 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 1/8 in Cross Section | Wear Ring
Features
- Protection Against Wear
- Reduced Friction
- Extended Cylinder Life
- Operational Efficiency

DUCT-11000 has a diameter of 11 in. The material is 65-45-12 Ductile Iron.
65-45-12 Ductile Iron is used to machine pistons, glands, caps, manifolds, rams, and valve bodies.
Ductile has higher machining speeds than steel and there is usually no need for deburring machined parts. The graphite flakes in the material act as a self-lubricant. Ductile can be flame or induction hardened as well as deep hardened.
Ductile bars are produced with sufficient stock on the outside diameter to ensure clean-up at the nominal dimension.
- Excellent machinability
- Optimal impact strengths
- Optimal fatigue properties
- Optimal electrical conductivity
- High magnetic permeability
Full mill lengths will be cut to lengths between 12 ft and 19 ft long. Packages longer than 44 inches may have additional freight charges.

660-5000 has a 5 in rod diameter. The material is 660 Bronze Copper Alloy 932.
660 Bronze is known as “bearing bronze” because it is most commonly used in bushing and bearing applications. While it is easily machined, the bronze alloy is hard, strong, and resistant to wear. It is also less dependent on lubrication than other alloys and has reasonable corrosion resistance to seawater and brine.
660 Bronze is used for machining bearings, bushings, wear strips, and plates. This grade of bronze is used in pump, cylinder, and machine tool applications.
- Good anti-friction properties
- Ample strength and hardness
- Adeqaute ductility
- Excellent machinability
