The MRUNB Rod U-seal is designed to prevent extrusion damage. The addition of the u-seal back-up ring increases the pressure range of the seal from 2,000 psi to 3,000 psi.

Utilizing the same profiles as the Style 800 Polyurethane U-Seal line, these u-seals are molded from a fluorocarbon, compound. While being compatible with a broader range of fluids, these fluorocarbon seals will also operate, continuously at temperatures from -20° to +400 °F. Style RU9 seals are molded from MDI based Zurcon® Z25 urethane. This seal offers good elasticity with low, compression set while maintaining a high level of tribological characteristics. The dynamic seal lip incorporates slide, segments that will increase back-pumping capabilities while reducing friction. The RU9 style rod seal is ideal for, hydraulic applications where high temperature and high pressure performance is required.
