Female connection on both ends.
ORB fittings incorporate a port connection for leak prevention in medium and high pressure hydraulic systems. The female port has a straight thread and a machined surface, along with a chamfer where the o-ring is seated. The seal is created when the o-ring is compressed into the chamfer when mating the male and female connection providing a leak-tight seal.
Style 850 u-seals offer excellent resistance to extrusion and abrasion. The round cross-section expander offers energized sealing from zero to 5,000 psi.

While being compatible with a broader range of fluids, these fluorocarbon seals will also operate continuously at temperatures from -20° to +400 °F.
