Style 850 u-seals offer excellent resistance to extrusion and abrasion. The round cross-section expander offers energized sealing from zero to 5,000 psi.
95A Durometer | Urethane Material | 2 1/2 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 3/8 in Cross Section | U-Seal
4 1/2 X 5 1/4 X 1/2 B-lip URE
15 X 16 X 3/4 B-lip URE
Used as a companion to our “B” lip configured Style 850 u-seal, Style 855 PRC rings convert a uni-directional u-seal into a bi-directional seal.

Utilizing the same profiles as the Style 800 Polyurethane U-Seal line, these u-seals are molded from a fluorocarbon, compound. While being compatible with a broader range of fluids, these fluorocarbon seals will also operate, continuously at temperatures from -20° to +400 °F. NOTE: If you are not sure of fluid/seal compatibility, please refer, to the fluid compatibility chart in the appendix or contact our Engineering Department.

The twin lip design helps solve difficult rod sealing problems by providing lower friction, increased stability, and high, dynamic lip force, while preventing air penetration from outside the cylinder.
Asymmetric rod seal designed with precision trimmed sealing lips to provide a dry sealing solution in light and medium-duty applications. The Hallite 605 is molded in Hythane® 181, Hallite’s high-performance polyurethane, for easy installation and excellent low temperature performance.
Designed to have interference in the seal housing groove and has a secondary lip. The secondary sealing lip located behind the primary sealing lip improves stability of the seal in the gland. The inner dynamic lip is shorter and more robust to improve sealing and compression set characteristics over conventional, symmetrical U-seals. The seal can be considered for use in heavy-duty applications when used with a suitable full depth back-up ring. The sealing lips are precision trimmed at an angle to give optimal rod sealing performance.

Style HRU u-seals are precision molded from 80 Durometer Buna-N rubber. Sizes include those found in Army-Navy spec. AN6226 and narrow cross-section sizes found in J.I.C. cylinders and the popularly termed “Huva Cup”.
90A Durometer | Fluorocarbon Material | 1 5/8 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 3/16 in Cross Section | U-Seal
These seals are specifically designed to seal on their inside diameter and engineered to attain maximum life and reliability in dynamic rod sealing.
92A Durometer | Urethane Material | 5 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 1/4 in Cross Section | U-Seal
Style HSU u-seals are precision molded from 80A Durometer Buna-N rubber or 90A Fluorocarbon (suffix “V”) — 80A Duro Rubber for abrasion resistance and 90A Duro Fluorocarbon for heat resistance. These seals are commonly found in industrial cylinders as piston, rod and cushion seals.
90A Durometer | Fluorocarbon Material | 5 7/16 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 9/32 in Cross Section | U-Seal
Style HU seals feature a reverse bevel lip design and are molded from high quality urethane. The balanced symmetrical design makes them ideal for rod or piston applications.
