Style HSU u-seals are precision molded from 80A Durometer Buna-N rubber or 90A Fluorocarbon (suffix “V”) — 80A Duro Rubber for abrasion resistance and 90A Duro Fluorocarbon for heat resistance. These seals are commonly found in industrial cylinders as piston, rod and cushion seals.

Our premium single-acting polyurethane rod seal incorporates an NBR energizer to seal at low pressures. The twin lip design provides stability and friction-reducing lube retention for dry rod sealing, and the included hard acetal backup ring resists extrusion. MRTUB is capable of pressures up to 10,000 psi in approved applications. E= European Urethane.
Top-of-the-range twin lip rod seal designed to provide a dry sealing solution in heavy-duty applications. The seal’s shell is molded in Hythane® 181, Hallite’s high-performance polyurethane, for easy installation and excellent low temperature performance.
The secondary sealing lip located behind the primary sealing lip improves stability of the seal in the gland. The unique profile of the NBR energizer ensures the primary sealing lips maintain contact under low or no pressure situations while ensuring proper sealing at higher pressures. The seal also incorporates an acetyl anti-extrusion ring to withstand side loads and extreme pressure peaks even with the extrusion gaps.
