Asymmetric rod seal designed with precision trimmed sealing lips to provide a dry sealing solution in light and medium-duty applications. The Hallite 605 is molded in Hythane® 181, Hallite’s high-performance polyurethane, for easy installation and excellent low temperature performance. The twin lip design helps solve difficult rod sealing problems by providing lower friction, increased stability, and high, dynamic lip force, while preventing air penetration from outside the cylinder. Designed to have interference in the seal housing groove and has a secondary lip. The secondary sealing lip located behind the primary sealing lip improves stability of the seal in the gland. The inner dynamic lip is shorter and more robust to improve sealing and compression set characteristics over conventional, symmetrical U-seals.
The seal can be considered for use in heavy-duty applications when used with a suitable full depth back-up ring. The sealing lips are precision trimmed at an angle to give optimal rod sealing performance.

T-Seals combine a resilient sealing ring with a hard, split back-up ring on each side of the sealing element. The assembly installs in a standard o-ring groove. T-Seals are non-spiraling and extrusion resistant to 5,000 psi with improved tolerances.
Buna-N Rubber Material | 6 in Nominal Inner Diameter | T-Seal
The MRUNB Rod U-seal is designed to prevent extrusion damage. The addition of the u-seal back-up ring increases the pressure range of the seal from 2,000 psi to 3,000 psi.
Nitrile and PTFE Material | 25 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Rod U-Seal
MUKRN is an asymmetrical single-acting pneumatic rod seal. Molded in nitrile, this seal is resistant to water and most oils while maintaining good low-pressure sealing.
80A Durometer | NBR Material | 22 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Rod Seal

Style RU9 seals are molded from MDI based Zurcon® Z25 urethane. This seal offers good elasticity with low, compression set while maintaining a high level of tribological characteristics. The dynamic seal lip incorporates slide, segments that will increase back-pumping capabilities while reducing friction. The RU9 style rod seal is ideal for, hydraulic applications where high temperature and high pressure performance is required.

The secondary sealing lip located behind the primary sealing lip improves stability of the seal in the gland. The unique profile of the NBR energizer ensures the primary sealing lips maintain contact under low or no pressure situations while ensuring proper sealing at higher pressures. The Hallite 621 also incorporates an acetyl anti-extrusion ring to withstand side loads and extreme pressure peaks even with the extrusion gaps.
