Molded in urethane and employing a back-up, this seal absorbs the shock of pressure spikes to protect the rod seal. The unique design relieves back pressure between the buffer and the rod seal. NOTE: ME = Merkel Equivalent.
Urethane Material | 63 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
Molded in polyurethane, this buffer seal is a simple flat, washer-like profile.
Urethane Material | 40 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
Molded in urethane and employing a back-up, this seal absorbs the shock of pressure spikes to protect the rod seal. The unique design relieves back pressure between the buffer and the rod seal. NOTE: ME = Merkel Equivalent.
Urethane Material | 45 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
These lip-type buffer seals are designed for replacement in Caterpillar® cylinders. The hinged-lip design reduces friction, heat, and wear under low-pressure conditions and acts as a check valve allowing back-pressure relief. Seals for rod sizes 2-1/8” and under do not have a back-up ring.
Urethane Material | 2 1/4 in Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
Molded in bronze-filled PTFE with an FKM energizer, this seal is used to protect the primary seal from damage caused by pressure spikes and excessive heat build up. Bronze-filled Teflon rod buffer seal with a Viton energizer.
Bronze PTFE Buffer Material | 2 3/4 in Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
Molded in polyurethane, this buffer seal is a simple flat, washer-like profile.
Urethane Material | 35 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
Molded in urethane and employing a back-up, this seal absorbs the shock of pressure spikes to protect the rod seal. The unique design relieves back pressure between the buffer and the rod seal. NOTE: ME = Merkel Equivalent.
Urethane Material | 50 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
The RBS style rod buffer seals are a rectangular urethane buffer ring designed to absorb pressure fluctuations to protect the primary rod seal. Some sizes include a radial and axial slot, which faces the pressure, to relieve back pressure between the primary and buffer seal. This simple design is commonly found on older construction equipment.
92A Durometer | Urethane Material | 1 3/4 in Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
Molded in urethane and employing a back-up, this seal absorbs the shock of pressure spikes to protect the rod seal. The unique design relieves back pressure between the buffer and the rod seal. NOTE: ME = Merkel Equivalent.
Urethane Material | 85 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Buffer Seal
