Used interchangeably for piston or rod sealing, these u-seals employ the same tough urethane material found in our, Heavy Duty Rod and Piston U-Seals.
92A Durometer | Urethane Material | 3 1/4 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 3/8 in Cross Section | U-Seal
Molded in a tough urethane, this seal employs an additional lip near the heel. The twin lip design provides stability, friction-reducing lube retention, and some contaminant resistance. VME – Secondary lip is further from heel than standard MRTU. NOTE: E = European Urethane.
Urethane Material | 20 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Rod U-Seal
Features
- Excellent low temperature performance
- Easy installation
Molded in a tough urethane, this rod u-seal fits tightly in the groove while providing increased radial force on the rod.
Urethane Material | 32 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Rod U-Seal
Molded in a tough urethane, this rod u-seal fits tightly in the groove while providing increased radial force on the rod.
Urethane Material | 36 MM Nominal Inner Diameter | Rod U-Seal
Asymmetric rod seal designed with precision trimmed sealing lips to provide a dry sealing solution in light and medium-duty applications. The Hallite 605 is molded in Hythane® 181, Hallite’s high-performance polyurethane, for easy installation and excellent low temperature performance. The twin lip design helps solve difficult rod sealing problems by providing lower friction, increased stability, and high, dynamic lip force, while preventing air penetration from outside the cylinder. Designed to have interference in the seal housing groove and has a secondary lip. The secondary sealing lip located behind the primary sealing lip improves stability of the seal in the gland. The inner dynamic lip is shorter and more robust to improve sealing and compression set characteristics over conventional, symmetrical U-seals.
The seal can be considered for use in heavy-duty applications when used with a suitable full depth back-up ring. The sealing lips are precision trimmed at an angle to give optimal rod sealing performance.
94A Durometer | Urethane Material | 1 1/2 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 3/16 in Cross Section | U-Seal
Features
- General purpose rod seal
- Robust design
- Excellent wear resistance
- Increase seal stability
- Performs well over wide temperature range and is extremely effective in low temperatures
- Primary lip protection
- Easy to install
Featuring high pressure and high shock load capability, this seal utilizes the same twin lip design found in Hercules®, Sealing Products’ RTU style. With the main body of the seal molded from high performance polyurethane, this seal, incorporates a dynamically designed nitrile energizer and a tough polyacetal anti-extrusion ring. RTUB is capable of, pressures up to 10,000 psi in approved applications. Please consult Hercules Engineering for pressures above 6,000, psi.
The secondary sealing lip located behind the primary sealing lip improves stability of the seal in the gland. The unique profile of the NBR energizer ensures the primary sealing lips maintain contact under low or no pressure situations while ensuring proper sealing at higher pressures. The Hallite 621 also incorporates an acetyl anti-extrusion ring to withstand side loads and extreme pressure peaks even with the extrusion gaps.
94A Durometer | Urethane Material | 4 1/2 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 1/4 in Cross Section | U-Seal
Style DRTU-BHT rod seals are molded in Freudenberg® AU 30000 urethane. These seals are specifically designed, with a second lip on their inside diameter and engineered to attain maximum life and reliability in dynamic rod sealing., This feature results in reduced leakage, less friction, increased stability, and prevents air and contaminants from, entering the cylinder. This high tear-resistant urethane demonstrates stability throughout a wide range of temperatures., In addition, this material is well suited to mineral and biodegradable hydraulic fluids as well as being resistant to, hydrolysis.
94A Durometer | Urethane Material | 2 in Nominal Inner Diameter | 1/4 in Cross Section | U-Seal
Utilizing tough polyurethane, these seals possess excellent wear and abrasion resistance. Symmetrical in design, they can be used in rod or piston applications. E= European Urethane.
